Stevenson Memorial Hospital for your healthcare needs.

The Ontario Health Insurance Plan covers the cost of most healthcare services for patients with a valid Health Card. However, some services and products are not covered.

Patients who receive medical care, but cannot show proof of a valid Ontario Health Insurance Card will be charged for hospital services. You will not be billed for the OHIP-covered hospital charges if you present your valid Health Card number to Accounts Receivable within 24 hours of your visit.

Patients who receive medical care must provide a valid Out of Province Health Card with a valid expiry date. Failure to provide proof of valid coverage will result in the patient being charged for service, ambulance, and applicable supplies.

All out-of-country residents are to pay for hospital services before leaving the hospital. Pay by cash or credit card at the Patient Access Department in the front lobby.
